Thank you for – An Iconocraft Christmas

Following the success of their second Iconocraft this past spring, the organizers, Amanda Farrell-Low, Sammie Gough and Missie Peters, decided to host An Iconocraft Christmas.  I’m the least crafty person out there, but wanted to support the “create local, buy local” movement.  Plus, with the Victoria Event Centre as a venue, I knew there would be beer (and cupcakes as it turned out).

A wide range of crafters were present, representing everything from hand-knitting, to ornament felting, screen printing, small book making, wreath creation, geometric ornaments and more.

I toured the room before deciding to make a felted ornament with Tally.

Other than poking myself in the finger several times, and breaking at least two needles (told you I wasn’t crafty) I had a fine time in the company of engaged people, very obviously having a fantastic evening out.
