Babes Go Bare For Cancer  had a scheduled Head Shave and silent auction March 6th and, on a whim, the week before, I tweeted that I would shave my head if I could raise $1000. Guess what?    Babes Go Bare was founded by Trish Caddy in the fall of 2009. She connected with the local social media community for much of her sponsorship. The year began January 2nd with a movie #victoriatweetup . Cindy Stephenson looked down the row of people and said "a year ago I didn't know one of these ppl". It's the power of Twitter. Set Theory and Human Relationships – The Power of One

This past weekend July 10 and 11th, in Victoria BC, Kris Constable hosted Idea Wave, a conference of ideas. Over 2 days, 50 people (25 a day) presented 10 minute talks on their ideas.
