Derwin Blanshard’s Extremely Classy Sunday Evening Programme, launched in the fall of 2012, returns for the 2nd episode of Season Two.
This hilarious post-modern take on the classic TV talk/variety show of the 1950s features – YOU – as a “live” studio audience, plus a plethora of guests drawn from politics, the arts, and quirky pop culture, as well as a recurring cast comprised of Victoria’s finest thespians, improvisers and comedians.
Join legendary local actor, writer and musician, Wes Borg, as Derwin, an eccentric British old-money millionaire blowhard. Get into the spirit of the “live” filming and don your finest duds.

This special Halloween-themed episode features the return of Mayor Dean Fortin as well as the Cast of “The Rocky Horror Show”, local cartoonist and Artist In Residence at the Royal BC Museum Gareth Kyle Gaudin, and local thespian and intellectualist Julian Cervello.
Also featured will be the comedy stylings of James Ball and Paul Oppers, and the musical talents of Nanaimo’s finest: Mercedes Courtoreille and Shauna McCallister. Pouring the spirits for the guests will be none other than Celebrity Mixologist: Death™ (“Death” is a registered trademark and completely original creation of Jacob Richmond and The Atomic Vaudeville Corporation).

Derwin Blanshard, (played by Wes Borg), is an eccentric British old-money millionaire blowhard, and the show walks a fine line between intellectual elegance and broad comedy, while being “filmed” with imaginary cameras for a fictional global television network.
