Ideas Victoria was founded in 2007 by Kris Constable as a place for critical thinkers to meet and discuss their ideas. Babes Go Bare For Cancer had a scheduled Head Shave and silent auction March 6th and, on a whim, the week before, I tweeted that I would shave my head if I could raise $1000. Guess what? Babes Go Bare was founded by Trish Caddy in the fall of 2009. She connected with the local social media community for much of her sponsorship. Official Launch of The Road to Port Hardy
Today was the day! After 18 months of training which included 7500kms of riding, 14 centuries, and 25 trips up to the Observatory, Frans Jonker@fransjonker left on his solo unsupported 4 day, 525 km ride from Victoria to Port Hardy. The Road to Port Hardy is a fund raiser for the BC Cancer Foundation.
